Testing Highlights: What To Know Before You Scroll
On left side of the panel is Sashco’s Capture® and Cascade®. On the right side of the panel is the competition. Panels were placed on exposure racks in Sashco's mile-high backyard just outside Denver, CO. They were left outside day and night for 18 full months, facing due south at a 45 degree angle to maximize UV and weather exposure. (Remember: Sashco's mile high elevation means 25-30% more UV radiation than at sea level.)
The evidence of poor stain performance speaks for itself. It shows as discoloration, peeling, excessive cracks in the wood, or gray wood. The panels in this study show what many homeowners and contractors alike have known for years:
Sashco's Capture® and Cascade® log stain system really performs.
